17 months & Christmas countdown
Hard to believe that Cohen turned 17 months yesterday - he is almost 1 1/2! He is still one very busy little boy, needing not alot of sleep. Still no real words (maybe hot - when he tries to touch my tea) but he sure knows what everything is and what "he wants". He obviously cannot say sorry but when he does something wrong like hit Carter, he will go over and give him a big hug to make it better - hard to stay stern. 
We have his 6 month follow up appointment with the specialist on Tuesday to continue monitoring the cystic hygroma on his neck. It had all but gone away but has got a little bigger recently, so we will be happy to have it checked again.
Carter is focused on how many days til Christmas and was happy to get his response letter from Santa. He continues to ask if he has been a "good boy" this year. We made his gingerbread house this afternoon, I put on the glue (aka icing) and he put it together and decorated it. Tomorrow we are off to the museum with Dawson & Marcia to get into the holiday spirit by watching Charlie Brown Christmas and the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Carter's Christmas concert is on Thursday and he has his poem and song down pat - can't wait to see him "perform".
